The video I decided to watch is about looking for alien life in our solar system. The things we look for however are rather strange. Here on earth ice usually means no life but on some moons it could possibly cover huge underground oceans. If that's true and on Europa or Enceladus we'll find liquid water which is one of the most important conditions for life to exist we will be very close to finding out if there is life outside our home planet.    Rising popularity for alt-right parties and politicians can be observed for some time now. Why is that? Well, In my opinion the cause of this is the fact that many years left-sided parties were getting more support and thus they made a bigger impact throughout these years than the right-sided ones. The evaluation whether these decisions were good is really personal. Some people liked them for sure and some people didn't. Because now alt-right parties are gaining support we can see that some people really hated the changes in recent years and decided to turn to opposing side even if that means voting for extremes. There were also some big events that made an impact on people's political opinions. For example many terrorist attacks in recent years. People are afraid of them and that makes them more likely to vote for parties with more nationalistic and conservative programmes. Those are in my opinion most important reasons of rising support for alt-right politicians. 

Form my experience most people don't like when it's raining outside. They connect it with sadness and unwillingness to do anything. I feel quite opposite. I love when it's raining especially in the evening. I have no clue why but I feel even more productive when I see the rain through the window or hear the drops hitting the roof. I think it has something to do with the times when I was very young. I used to enjoy playing in the puddles and just being outside during the showery days. It just stayed with me throughout all these years and even though now I don't really like getting wet and cold I still enjoy experiencing the rain in other ways. It just has a vibe that is special to me. I'm very curious how many more people feel the same way.

Today I visited my grandfather at one of many Warsaw's hospitals. It has been some time since I was in a hospital at all but I still hate going there even as a visitor. I know those are places where people get healed and stuff but there is just something in them that makes me want to leave as soon as I enter. For me there are two main factors that trigger that reaction in my case. First is the appearance of a hospitals themselves and don't get me wrong. I know that there is big effort to modernise them and make them look better but for now most of them doesn't look like a place you would like to be in. The second thing for me is atmosphere. It's just so overwhelming and tense that it makes me feel really uncomfortable. Especially on the ward with old people. It makes me very sad to see some of them without any hope and just sadly laying in beds with no vision of better tomorrow. Sports have been with us pretty much since the begining of our civilization but now became bigger than ever before. Nowdays we can watch a game of football for example that is being played tousands of kilometers away. That's amazing  because we are able to expirience sports like never until now and that's cool. But to me what is cooler is the phenomenon of cheering for sombody or some team. I think it is special because we don't know those people in person, we don't know who they really are like but still, we take time out of our day to spend it watching them compete with others. This is in my opinion the true magic of sports. Not the competition or the fact that you can win something etc. But the fact that it truly unites people from all countries, parts of the globe, from different cultures and religions. It just doesn't have any boundaries and that is what makes it so magical and special.

"This road is too narrow", "Why didn't they build a bigger path for pedestrians here?", "Who designed the centre of this city? There is always so much traffic". I think we all heard or said something along these lines in our lives. We like to complain about the way a city or a town was planned but we don't realise that it isn't the easiest thing to do most of the times. City isn't built at once. Neither it is planned at once. It means that it will always change and will have to be adapted to always changing requirements of the people. For example architects two centuries ago didn't expect that today there will be cars in such big numbers on the streets so it is obvious that the roads built then are not able to handle the modern day challenges. There are more examples like that so I think we should be more forgiving next time we'll be stuck in traffic in the old part of the city. 

As we all know on the first day of September 1939 the second world war began. Every year we celebrate this date and remember all the lives lost because of this horrible time. This year I decided to pay a bit more attention to tv transmissions of the events. After watching few relations on few different tv stations I came to a conclusion that something is very wrong about them. I think all the ceremonies have way too much political influence. What I mean by that is the fact that different parties celebrate by their own and not together how it should be done. Second thing is that instead of just using this time to remember all people who died during the war politicians try to show that they care the most about the anniversary and that they celebrate in better ways than the others. It annoys me because in my opinion this date should be the symbol of unity and bravery of our the nation that was attacked almost 80 years ago and not another chance to get more votes.

Does art have to be beautiful? In my opinion it doesn't. I think that some works of art just can not be beautiful. For example there are some incredible movies that are considered art but can't be beautiful because you can't really call a movie about some hard topics like war or murder beautiful. Another thing is that some pieces of art aren't made to look nice but for example to make people think about something or show them how our world changes. This is why In my opinion art doesn't always have to be beautiful.  

I do not think I would like working there for many reasons but I will give just a few. Fist you always have to wear a suit. I'd prefer to be able to wear what I want to work. Next thing is that you have to be always pleasant to the guests and simile all the time which wouldn't be a problem most of the times but sometimes everyone has a bad day and don't really want to be forced to smile all day. Other thing that makes me really not wanting to work there is that you have to do whatever the guests want and you can just say that you will not do something because you don't want to. Also some guests can be really rude and demanding so I don't think I'd be able to resist it for a long time even if I got paid well. I know that this job can be a dream job for some people but I think it is just not for me.

The obesity is the real problem in the world we live in today. Especially in the rich countries like U.S.A or Europe. Why there are more obese people in the world than there were let's say hundred years ago? I think it's because as we develop new technologies that help us grow more food and population is becoming richer we tend to buy more and more food. I don't see a one and only person or company that is responsible for all the obesity out there. Fast food restaurants and frozen food is not helping us deal with fatness but I would blame ourselves as the main culprit. Of course not all of us but we all know that eating too much can easily get out of control if we do not cut back on it sometimes. This is what makes it such a big threat to today's society and this is what we should blame for obesiety. 

To be honest I don't see a big chance of us stopping being the throwaway society because it would be really really hard. We are used to throwing out stuff we don't need, when it's broken or when the new model of something comes out. This isn't the best thing to do considering how much of those things isn't recycled but this is how our market works. Electronics are made to last couple of years and after that they tend to slow down or just break down so we have to buy a new one. Big companies are controlling the whole market and we don't really have anything to say about it. That's why we won't stop being the throwaway society until we will change our mindset.

In my opinion many people still believe in super natural things because it is very hard for them to change their mindset about this. What I mean is we are all surrounded by culture of supernatural from the beginning of our lives. All the fairy tales we were told many books we read and many films we watch contain something that does not exist. We are just used to thinking those things are real from our childhood and even though science proved it all to be not real many times deeply inside some of us still believe it or question it's existence. Overall I think that the reason of so many people believing in supernatural is being raised in culture full of it.

People should definetly invest money in space exploration because it will give us a chance to colonize other planets. This is very important because we live on one small grain of sand suspended in space and we have no more place we can live. Also if some extremely dangerous event occured we would be doomed but if we establish many self-sufficient colonies in different systems we would secure our species from going extinct. The self-sufficiency is crucial here because they will be able to function just fine with our earth being destroyed not habitable any more. This is why I think we should invest money in it.

Burj al-Arab is one on the most unique hotels in the entire world. It is located in Dubai, UAE. It was completed in 1999 being the highest hotel in the world at the time. Though it is not even one of the highest buildings with its 321 meters it became the recognizable landmark for the emerging city. Don't be fooled by the hight, It is a real engineering masterpiece. The hotel stand on artificial island which was created just before construction started. Because of standing far out in the sea architects had to deal with the wind which can reach very high speeds in that region so the structure had to be streamlined. This is why the building has its weird and unique sail-like shape. The atrium is separated from the outside by a glass fibre screen attached to the building through a network of steel cables. The Elbphilharmonie is as you can tell by it's name a philharmonie. In fact one of the largest and most acoustically advanced philharmonies in the world. It is located in Hamburg, Germany. Created by famous german architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron and opened in January 2017. The first thing that catches your eye is the elevation of the building. It is mostly made of glass with many knobs on the glass panels. Whole construction stands on the old warehouse to preserve historic building and blend old design with something fresh.  You have to admit they  succeeded with doing that. Outside look isn't the only thing that is special about this creation. The interior is in fact so futuristic that you probably feel like you're in some sort of alien base when you walk in. Today I will talk about another villa. In fact maybe as interesting as the last one. It's called Fallingwater and it was designed by one of the history's greatest architect Frank Lloyd Wright. I was built in Pennsylvania, USA in 1939. The house was built to blend in the forest and to be a perfect place to relax. It was incredibly modern for it's time and you had to be a genius to make create something like this. It surely had made a really big impression on everyone who saw this building when it was finished. Because the family which Wright was designing house for liked waterfalls decided to build their house on top of one. It was never done before and not may times after. It's mainly made of steel-reiforced concrete and stone so it pefectly expresses Frank's concept of "organic architecture".
